Maxwell Lopez, under the Illustrator alias Nectur, is a Denver-based freelance artist. For two years during college, he was a lead illustrator and comic artist for the University of Colorado Denver Sentry Student Newspaper. He graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and a minor in Environmental Science. His approach to the creative process starts with the shortcomings of his previous work as a basis for making the next project stronger than the last. Stronger in storytelling, technique, and execution to fuel a progressive, studious mindset. With broad interests in animation, character design, concept art, and further positions as an illustrator, Nectur's drive to learn and collaborate with others is exhibited in his work.
